2016 is barely a month in and already the music scene is pretty much spectacular. Meet  Guns, our new favorite from Copenhagen, Denmark, whose music is is reminiscent of synth-pop and reminds us of a cross between Grimes, Anna of the North, and MØ.  In an email to Nylon Magazine Guns explained house she wrote the song in a bourgeois apartment in Copenhagen that she rented from an elderly woman.  She told Nylon ”

“I think it’s kind of about watching a lot of TV,” she said. If you’ve been searching for something ethereal that will effortlessly drift you into the extended, three-day weekend, this synthesized song is all you need.”
