Grace Coddington, creative director of Vogue Magazine, has announced that she will be stepping down from her 28-year run to take on her own projects. She will still help out on quite a few editorials a year, will also be working on her own fragrance line with Comme des Garçons, which we’re sure will be amazing.
Coddington told Business of Fashion in an interview, “I’m not running away from Vogue, because it has opened so many doors. But it will be nice to collaborate, and nice to go out [and] give talks to people. It’s just another approach. I’m certainly not going into retirement. I don’t want to sit around.”
Wondering what Vogue will look like without her creative eye? Us too! There is no plan to fill her position just yet, but stay tuned for more!
