Sky Ferreira is teaming up with Primal Scream with new material. “Where the Light Gets In” is a fabulous re-introduction for Ferreira, and pairing with Primal Scream takes her back to her roots. In a 2014 interview with NME, Ferreira said, “The reason I like working with [Primal Scream] is because there’s absolutely no pressure. It’s nice to walk in somewhere and they’re not like, ‘Okay, your label is harassing me about this and that.’ I set it up without anyone else involved, so we just sit and write in a room and there’s no pressure.”
Expect to hear more Ferreira and Primal Scream songs on Ferreira’s next album Masochism. In the meantime, watch the video for “Where the Light Gets In” below.
