Saturday Night Live has been on some type of winning streak recently, and they did not disappoint in “White America’s Reaction to Beyonce’s Formation Video”.
Shot in a horror movie trailer -esque style for a fictional film The Day Beyoncé Turned Black, the parody shows white people going through their daily routines, when the queen, B #BlackLivesMatter-themed video drops and informs them that, wait a minute, the, world’s most famous pop star is actually black.
“For white people, it was just another great week,” begins the classic movie trailer voiceover. “They never saw it coming. They had no warning. Then, the day before the Super Bowl, it happened.”
