After a career in fashion, feeling a bit disconnected and wildly curious about the world, Anit took a soul searching journey backpacking alone throughout South America. Ironically, it was traveling foreign lands and meeting eclectic folks from all over the world that reintroduced Anit to the power of plant-based healing her parent’s had raised her with all along. She returned to New York with the intention to study herbalism, aromatherapy, skincare, and yoga. She became a successful holistic esthetician and herbalist, eventually hand-distilling her apothecary line, Mullein & Sparrow.
