Director of Beetlejuice, the Nightmare Before Christmas, and all your other creepy favorites, Tim Burton, gives a peek into the world of Miss Peregrine’s. The film is based on the novel by Ransom Riggs and revolves around several children who have “peculiarities” or special abilities (think X Men but less guns and with a tinge of eerie). After reading the novel, Tim Burton’s style is a perfect fit. The movie features Eva Green as the headmistress of the quirky but creepy estate where she serves as guardian for the peculiar children. The film also features Samuel L. Jackson, Chris O’Dowd, Judi Dench, and Asa Butterfield. The film is set to hit theaters September 30th (can that get here sooner, please?). See the trailer below.
