Beyoncé has finally released photos of her activewear line, Ivy Park. The line should be available tday and is 200 pieces of body-positive pieces for all. The line is accommodating to all price points and features a full range of sizes.
In a press release, Beyoncé shared her inspiration for the line, stating, “When I’m working and rehearsing I live in my workout clothes but I didn’t feel there was an athletic brand that spoke to me. My goal with Ivy Park is to push the boundaries of athletic wear and to support and inspire women who understand that beauty is more than your physical appearance. True beauty is in the health of our minds, hearts, and bodies. I know that when I feel physically strong, I am mentally strong and I wanted to create a brand that made other women feel the same way.”
There are 3 styles of leggings, “second skin” pieces that include tank-tops with built in bras, seamless knits, and bodysuits. There’s a lot more and sizes range from XXS-XL. The collection features mostly muted tones with pops of color.
The brand is owned by both Beyoncé and Sir Phillip Green (involved with Topshop) and stands against the celebrity collab phenomenon we hear so much about. Beyonce spoke on their partnership, saying, “Together, through Ivy Park we have forged a joint venture, partnership and a stand-alone brand.”
You can shop the activewear line at Nordstrom, Topshop, and Net-A-Porter.
