A trailer for season four of Orange is the New Black was released and we could not be more excited. The series returns on June 17th on Netflix with some of our favorite characters including Taystee, Suzanne (Crazy Eyes), and Piper. The trailer features protagonist Piper saying, “I didn’t mean for it to get this bad,” which has us thinking things may be taking even darker turns at Litchfield.
In season three’s finale, we were left with a huge cliffhanger but the trailer may give away that Alex is in fact around. Maybe it could be some sick joke by Netflix to toy with us, but it seems like Laura Prepon is coming back. The show was also renewed for three more years, with Netflix supportive of Jenji Kohan’s work as showrunner. Netflix’s VP of Original Content, Cindy Holland said, “Jenji and her team have produced a phenomenal and impactful series that is both funny and dramatic, outrageous and heartfelt. Audiences around the world have come to love the ladies and men of Orange Is the New Black, and we are eager to see where three more seasons will take them.”
