The third movie in the thrilling The Purge series is coming soon, and looks to be entirely worth the wait. There was a bit of a gap in 2015 with no follow up film, and in the film itself there is a time gap as well. The movie features Frank Grillo as Leo Barnes, now head of security for Senator Charlie Roan (Elizabeth Mitchell) moving into his new role. The film’s theme is fitting given the hot topic of 2016 is the upcoming debate, and we may see the lawlessness reach the White House in the film (not real life, phew). The plot picks up two years after 2014’s The Purge: Anarchy with creator James DeMonaco returning once again to give us nightmares of what could possibly happen if things went haywire.
