KAWS and Uniqlo have launched a collection of accessories and this time, the collaboration collection will feature tote bags. Brian Donnelly (KAWS’ real name) has previously teamed up with the fast-fashion retailer under the direction of Nigo, Uniqlo’s creative director.
In an interview with Complex, Nigo spoke about the collaboration saying, “I also worked with KAWS on several capsule collections atBAPE. We’ve been working together in some way or other since 1997. I think we have a mutual trust and understanding so it just happens naturally. I trust his art, illustration, graphic design and I believe that he trusts me to translate that to products.”
The tote bags come in a variety of colors and designs and are very much in the typical illustrative style of KAWS. The previous release sold out quickly, so you’ll have to grab these at Uniqlo quickly.
