Last year, in an interview with GQ, Obama opened up about loving the HBO series Game of Thrones. When asked who his favorite character was, his answer was a bit fishy. He said, ““My favorite character is probably … the dwarf, what’s his name?” We would have expected him to know Tyrion’s name if he loved the show. Then he said, “The problem with Game of Thrones, though, is that I don’t remember the names of any of the characters. So when I watch it, I know exactly what’s going on. But if you read a review of the show afterwards and they’re mentioning such and such, the only one I remember is Jon Snow, because I can pronounce Jon Snow.”
In a Buzzfeed article, he is featured trying to name all of the Game of Thrones characters that have died, which is no easy feat especially given that he has plenty of other things on his plate. You can see the video below. Enjoy!
