Nick Jonas returns to the screen, and this time it’s in the trailer for the drama GOAT. Jonas plays a frat bro named Brett whose younger brother Brad decides he also wants to join his fraternity. Initially, it makes sense since the two are brothers and that’s what fraternities are all about. But later, once Hell Week starts, things begin to get dark.
The trailer showcases the fraternity’s hazing rituals, that are both abusive and dehumanizing. Older brother Brett watches his brother Brad fall apart and begins to question everything about his involvement with the fraternity. The film is based on a memoir written by Brad Land and premiered at Sundance this year. The Andrew Neel-directed film features James Franco as producer and he also gave himself a small role. The film is set to hit theaters September 23rd and you can watch the trailer below.
