The final trailer for Suicide Squad opens like this: “I want to build a team of some bad people who can do some good.” It perfectly sums up the trailer, and the blurring lines between good and evil in the super hero world. The quote comes from Amanda Waller (Viola Davis), considered one of the “good guys,” who sets the movie’s plot into action by gathering some of the worst villains to fight something much larger. In the trailer, a title calls her a “cutthroat government agent” and “the Squad’s puppet master” which don’t exactly sound that good.
The trailer also gives us a look at Rick Flag, another of the “good” guys, whose job is to keep the villains in line. We have tons of question marks about this film, like who exactly is good and bad, or where Enchantress is in this trailer, but our questions should be answered soon as the film hits theaters August 5th.
