Warner Bros unveiled a trailer for their latest bad-ass superhero film, Wonder Woman, and it is the first female-centered superhero movie to be released by a major company in years. The film will be released by DC Comics (duh) and it actually looks good.

The trailer stars Gal Gadot (who first appeared as the character in 2016’s Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice) and the film is directed by Patty Jenkins. The film will dig into the mythological origin of the Wonder Woman character (created by Zeus) and finds her in the middle of great political conflict and unrest: World War I. Her wardrobe  is iconic in her red, blue, and gold leotard but she is far beyond a fragile thing. The trailer provides hope for female characters without clichés and hypersexualization, and does so in a convincing way. You can see the trailer below. Let us know what you think!
