Christina Grimmie was murdered in Orlando, FL in June at a signing with fans, and it was then that a rising star was taken too soon. After inspiring so many fans on The Voice, she was set to launch a career in music that was both promising and made to last.
In her Side A EP, she showed so much of that promise, especially with ballads like “Snow White.” Her family shared the video for the song on Thursday and it is hard to watch. In the video, Grimmie plays a character named Jessica Blue, who will be featured in a series of videos Grimmie shot before her death. According to Billboard, a new video will premiere in that series, entitled The Ballad of Jessica Blue every week of this month.
Grimmie’s manager, Brian Teefey spoke about the project, saying, ““Everyone worked so hard on this project putting in extra long days on set to ensure we got the best quality project we could for the minimal budget we had. I couldn’t be more proud of her and everyone involved for the labor of love that was put into this project.”
