In May, H&M announced an exciting campaign with Carol Lim and Humberto Leon of Kenzo. Since the announcement, neither of the parties have released any further information on the campaign. The duo broke the silence today by launching a behind-the-scenes campaign video.
Photographer Jean-Paul Goude shot the impressive group for the campaign. Model Iman and actresses Rosario Dawson and Chloë Sevigny make brief appearances in the video while musicians Chance the Rapper, Ryuichi Sakamoto, Suboi, and Xiuhtezcatl Martinez round out the lineup.
Goude explained that the shots were inspired by some he took in the ’70s. “[Lim and Leon] were very clear on what they wanted and they had seen things of mine and they knew so much about the stuff that I was flattered and that’s how it started,” he says. The video also gives us a peek at what exactly the collection will entail. From the looks of it, it has: neon clothes, multicolored prints, very tall beanies, and all of the tiger stripes.
The campaign will be released October 17, ahead of the collection launch on November 3rd. Until then, you can see the campaign video below. Enjoy!
