Beyonce Announces Scholarship Program

Beyonce announced on her one year anniversary of Lemonade the creation of the Formation Scholars Award program. This endeavor will award four young women in participating colleges a scholarship. The schools that will give out this scholarship include Berklee College of Music, Howard University, Parsons School of Design, and Spelman College. The students must be undergraduate or graduate and set to pursue creative arts, music, literature, or African-American studies. This is a great effort by Beyonce. This is for the young person “who are unafraid to think outside the box and are bold, creative, conscious, and confident” according to MTV news. Will you apply for this wonderful opportunity?
